Sanji has always been one of the characters thats both fun and a pain in the donkey to play at the same time.
Mostly because of his versatility, and the way you can NEVER pull off the combo you want (because he's a combo builder, and you need skill to build a combo, which i dont have Razz)

Pretty sure dragon is not possible as a character, he has no known attacks. That has to be considered when suggesting a character.

you can activate gear 2 pretty easily, the activating g2 when crouching from a jump will be included too. Later got plans to make it so you can add g2 to a punch or kick if you're in motion to go into g2 in the middle of a combo maybe.

I meant the sprites. The best part about a new game is what surprise awaits around the next corner lol.

Party table is DD (double defend) and we hold D and he keeps spinning. Press forward or backward while holding D will make him move.

When you go into observation mode (close eyes) You'll auto dodge.  It takes up more WP/stamina to do so though.  Doing it manually by just tapping it will take up less energy

Party table the focus needs to be on the legs, adding blur to the hands makes it look too busy

'closed eye mode' you hold DS at the same time and your character closes their eyes. You're able to only walk in this state with eyes closed. Jumping or attacking brings you out of it. It drains WP but you have an auto dodge and also you can see all enemies on screen, even if they're hiding. People with King's haki like Luffy can do the Conq Haki move after in closed eye state.

Just tapping DS will do a dodge if an attack is incoming.

For his hair taunt, yes that is planned. Hopefully we will be able to get his hair customization so you can keep the selected hairstyle forever, BUT that is for a later time.


@Dragon:
What do you think would be awkward about it? Hitboxes might just be his body mostly, hands might be ignored unless for attack/defend.

The chest might be the 'barrier' part of his body. He will probably have a Julian like armor too

I kinda agree that his stance should be changed, just he should favor a side more .. like a little sideways facing.

@v : WP stands for will points. its another special different bar that increases when we use close combat and dodge/defend at 'perfect time'. it also slowly fills when we are low on hp (<25% hp).
Originally it was meant to be rage points but then later on replaced by will points.
special strong moves, hell moves, transformations etc. require wp to perform them

just a little more sidefacing.. I like it the way it is, but his hand-positions seem a little weird coz they don't seem to represent any particular expression, like fighting-mode or chilling-mode or simply-standing mode. get it?

How about till it a little to side and perhaps make the hand position more normal or something crazy too that suits franky Razz

Are you spriting Franky now or just plan the stance? If you are making Franky I suggest every attack he made, change his hairstyle even for taunt too. Rather making the hair permanent to every sprites, it is better this way.

Btw about the sprites, he is ok I guess but I like what Rhino propose about the stance. Good luck with it

I think he should to shot rockets(with hows Julian skulls move(follow the enemy but not so much))when he runs like a real tank and its a 3 shots cooldown 3 shots cooldown when your stamina is over its over(Lol Razz)

Yup he'll have heat seeking rockets. HIs charge system will have something to do with cola instead of WP like other characters. Dunno the design yet.

@beta:
Just making plans for Franky while Aman polishes up Sanji before we move on to Luffy

I'm not going to manually change the hairstyle for each attack. I think its better for the player themselves to have control of the hairstyle at all times.

Alright hows this for stance?

Just a gear instead of the WP bar. No 'mana/WP' it just stays still. You build power/spin up by doing the attacking/defending/dodging thing. S attacks(rockets/cannons/laser,etc) will drain the spin

The Stamina/heart I thought instead of beating like a normal heart, it just fades in and out, more computer like. When you're out of stamina the heart just goes dark. Also this way it won't clash with the gear spinning/blinking too much

I like the new bar system.. But wait is that for all characters or are you making it robotic/computer like specifically for Franky?
The new stance is awesome too!

And I do suggest the new fade-in-out heart-beating mana for all characters. Kinda easier to grasp the situation than the older one Imo.

I'm not going to manually change the hairstyle for each attack. I think its better for the player themselves to have control of the hairstyle at all times.

Just a gear instead of the WP bar. No 'mana/WP' it just stays still. You build power/spin up by doing the attacking/defending/dodging thing. S attacks(rockets/cannons/laser,etc) will drain the spin

The Stamina/heart I thought instead of beating like a normal heart, it just fades in and out, more computer like. When you're out of stamina the heart just goes dark. Also this way it won't clash with the gear spinning/blinking too much

And I do suggest the new fade-in-out heart-beating mana for all characters. Kinda easier to grasp the situation than the older one Imo.

@Freaky: Certain characters might have special bars that reflect their nature. As for the fade in out thing; the current ones you tried in the latest build were just mock ups to propose the idea. It will be made to pump and blink at the same time to make it clearer. I like the idea of having Franky's fade in and out instead though, and I believe it is going to look just as clear.

@vaoy: Your English is clear, and that is more than enough =D

If yes you use Z-Studios Jolly Roger Under the character(if you choose Buggy under him you see Buggy's jolly roger and with Zoro it'll be Zoro's Jolly Roger And with Aukiji it's Aukiju's Jolly roger Just character like the marines or the revolution(ivankov and koma)or pirate solider.
