i guess imma read the manga only because i was able to get volume 2 for dirt cheap....or.....damn it watching it would be cooler.....ill figure out eventually Razz

lol i did the same thing with beelzebub.....except that imma go back to it...eventually.. lol its just so weird, like....stuff just happens. it kinda reminds me of one punch man with its randomness

my fav would probably be a tie between hunterxhunter and fmab.

I currently have a big list(listing from best to worst...in my opinion ofcourse)-
Kiseijuu, durarara, nanatsu no taizai, jojo's, aldnoah. zero, assassination classroom, and world trigger(would have been at the top if toei didn't just prove they could animate worse than one piece)
highly recomend the top 4, but durarara might not be for everyone since it's first half is just build up and you'll need patience.
as for my favorite animes- hunter x hunter 2011, jojo's, kiseijuu currently and for mangas- one piece, my hero academia, tie between jojo's all you need is kill and hunter x hunter

I'm currently watching Parasyte, Aldnoah.Zero, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love!, Death Parade, Log Horizon 2nd season and Durarara!! X2.

I'm a little surprised only 1 out 3 is watching Parasyte(Kisiejuu). I really recommend it EVERYONE here, even if you don't watch anime all that much.

Synopsis:

I know, it may sound like just any other anime, but it isn't. I love this anime because of how it touches on Morality and what is a right and wrong for a human being. You're really missing out if you're not watching this one.

Well, here's what they basically are.

Parasyte - The one anime to look forward to.
Aldnoah.Zero - Mecha anime with a not evil, less intelligent version of Lelouch.
Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei-bu Love! - Magically BOYS. Do I need to say more?
Death Parade - A kinda dark anime, still good.
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu - Funny and unique anime.
Log Horizon 2nd season - Sucks compared to the 1st season, but still not too bad.
Durarara!! X2 -

The show Firefly which I haven't watch yet is apparently similar to Cowboy Bebop. I enjoyed it but it didn't grab my attention as much as Death Note did with all its suspense. The show does have lots of varying and good music and I think that's one of the reasons the anime is highly regarded. The characters are pretty interesting, the story is ehh, it's all over the place.

As for Code Geass, I've watched the first 3 episodes so far and it reminds me so much of Death Note. I think I will enjoy it quite a bit Very Happy

The only problem I had with Cowboy Bebop was the future setting, not a big fan of those. Mostly because of how horribly wrong they tend to be. It was pretty good other than that.

I think it's about time I re-watched Code Geass. As much as I love it, I've only watched it once, and that was years ago.

Just finished Code Geass R2.
ZOMG!! The show is so amazing. Such a great ending.
My favourite anime! granted I haven't seen many anime series lol

It's just too good. Nearly cried during a few scenes.

Also loved most of the opening music from both versions.

Code Geass's ending is till date my favorite ending.. Couldn't have been better.. Recently completed Monster, and I must say its quiet intelligent anime.. A lot of brain-work to figure out what actually happens.. Razz

Planning to watch Steiin's Gate but just don't have time for it..

Good luck with Steins;Gate. If Monster needs brain-work, this one will fry that brain. The only thing I could say when watching it for the first time was "wut?". serious nod

The only thing I like about Death Note that Code Geass can't offer is L. Code Geass is surpasses Death Note in everything else.

I am watching Parasyte, Kuroko no Basket, Durarara and reading One Piece, One punch man, Berserk and Boku no Hero Academia.
I have to watch Code Geass. I watched Death Note and for me it's the best anime ever, but I must watch Code Geass.

Kuroko no Basket its very funny and the games are really exciting. I've read the manga. If you don't like animes with a lot of protagonist and power of friendship, don't watch it. This is the only negative aspect in Kuroko no Basket. But I recommend everyone who likes funny and exciting animes with great and epic characters, and a wonderful animation too.

I finished all the episodes of parasyte. One of the best animes I watched, it's one of the most original stories I ever seen. The best thing in this anime is the protagonist and it's development. The psychological impact it's really deep and can make anyone think about the questions that the characters make. I can't wait for the next episode.

I guess I'll try it. It's been a pretty long time since I watched a normal anime, with no superpowers and fantasy stuff in it.

Waiting for new episodes of Parasyte is pretty hard. I can't count how many times I've wanted to read the manga to find out what happens next. xD

Nanatsu no taizai is about knights. It starts off pretty fun and childlike, but will get more serious at around the 15th episode. It's quality however ranks really high and I think that this and kiseijuu are the best animes this season
