how to get all the characters

i mean there is no even full story mode how do i get all of them?
i got arlong after beating him but there are like 15 more that i want to try isnt there a code that i can use to unlock them all?

Or you can choose to unlock them legitimately by beating all the bosses in the stage mode. That's the method I personally recommend because that will make make you appreciate the new playables more and make beating the stage mode as rewarding as it should be.
