hey can u say what is about to be in this new release aband mabey how much characters are fully complited and will be on the game and waht changes did u do (stage mode changes, delete old characters changes,new mod-something like the championship in the regular little fighter,multiplayer,etc).
cause i just cant wait it looks just way too good

I repeat again, NO. Law will not be in this release. He is not polished enough.
Luffy, Sanji and Marine will be completed and be in the game.
We didn't do ANY change, this is no longer Little Fighter 2 modification, we started with brand new custom made gaming engine and started everything from scratch.
In this release, as the name suggests, will only be a showcase of characters, there will just be a normal VS mode and nothing else.

What's mods(Multiplayer,Versus,Story etc...)will be in the first release?

By "normal versus mode" i assume you mean i CAN play against friends?
The phrase "multiplayer in the future" got me confused...

I'm pretty sure he means that multiplayer by online will be in a later release, and this demo will probably have versus cpu, and vs human on same keyboard.

There will only be basic clashing in the first release. Button mashing clashes and so on will be in a later release, as stated by Z.

I'm beginning to feel uneasy about all this hype you guys are making. DON'T expect much. This is the first release, and it will probably have lots of flaws.

To answer your questions.

1. Marine Grung will get special's?
2. What Stage You think about to do?

1- No. Marine grunts are grunts. They usually do the minimal damage if they fight unfocused. We're trying to make them, however, like a big deal when they prepare for attacking formations and plans.
2-We're not even completely done with Punk Hazard's stage. That's not our concern at the moment. But we're thinking about having either Dressrosa Colosseum or Sunny in after Punk hazard.

Well, the core gameplay elements a standard game would need are done now. But you see, One Piece's characters have some pretty weird abilities, so I find myself constantly updating the engine with features to contain these abilities.
The engine's interface (menus, settings..etc) is not all done yet.
I am not satisfied with the engine's overall performance either, so I still need to do lots of optimizations. That requires a lot of time which I don't have at the moment.

hey u said u still have the data and the sprites of the OPGW game so can u move the sprites of the characters that are in this game and are not in the opgw and move them to the opgw game with the characters there for a while cause i want to play the new sangi and luchy with friends and i cant cause there is no multiplayer so if u can it will be awosome

That can't be done, these characters are for A-Engine and not LF2.

I just answered on this page that this project is NO LONGER LF2 modification, but people can't be bothered to read

I agree with you though. Even where I work, customers don't read. They literally don't even listen to the directions, and or read the instroctions that we take our time to explain. Thus when a problem arises they try to blame us. All we can do is ask, "Did you do it as we explained?"

1-There won't be any content from the older OPGW/OPAE in this game. You should've noticed that the style of the OPGB ripped sprites together with Z's current style is completely inconsistent. We're not going to use ripped assets anymore (except for the sounds; most will still be ripped directly from the anime).

-VS mode: 10 players can play from which 4 are human players.

A-MAN can you add survival mode to the first release? It shouldn't be much of a burden. Of course I'll understand if you don't. If I remember in OPAE it was only 50 stages in survival mode but it should be endless with unlimited marine grunts coming in waves form 1 to infinity. It could help to see how the engine works if there is much detail on the screen.

You can set up whatever scenario you want form the char select screen.

For 'survival' just select yourself and set up the grunts as your enemies, Aman might make a wave based option later.

Instead of 'training mode' you just choose the training doll and yourself, etc.

One other question is, if you change the engine from LF2 to A-Engine will the number of controls will stay the same or is it that there will be a lot more controls?
P.S For being clear I'm asking if it's Up Down Left Right Enter Shift Ctrl gonna change.

Yeah, there'll also be a special button but that's it.

I don't know if I can put any suggestions here but I have a pretty good idea. I know that you don't have time as for now, but maybe in the future you will. I wrote about survival mode recently and yesterday I was thinking about how to make it even better. I came to the conlussion that a survival mode with unlimited wave system is good but if we could add some different stages to it like marine stage with marines, pirate stage with pirates and mixed with all the characters it would be even better. Another idea is to stronger marines to appear with the progress. At the begining there would be only marine grunts then officers, vice admirals etc.

Yes we're planning that already. It'll start with marine grunts then go up to marine admiral last. Also you can just choose the stage to go with whatever type of wave you want.

Then there should also be an option to disable stronger ranks of marines, that is, to customize survival mode.

Franky, Zoro and Law are NOT being worked upon at the moment.
ONLY bug-fixing and polishing of already made techniques is being done, along with Engine interface, like menus etc.

Please be patient everyone, there's nothing to show atm. Hope you all understand

So did you decide to release more then Luffy Sanji and Marine, because you're finishing also Franky, Law and Zoro?
