I think the most important thing about a "logo" would be keeping it as simple as we can along with a decent design that gives a hint of the theme/material its about.

the thingies on side can be omitted IMO, and you could fit "ENGINE" somewhere?

i agree with rhino, i think it should be small and simple, maybe the "engine" can be written very small inside the A's body, a bit above the A-line, if you know what i mean. it looks awesome but somewhat weird to me lol.
