your first sig was tsuna, well w/e =_=", overall sig look too plain, BG kinda empty, text doesn't look good, it your first sig i won't cnC too much just keep at it +1 nice try

lets get to business:
1-its too big try to make one with those dim: 420-200.
2-bg is plain.
3-text too big.

Btw, nice effect u got on the render! +1!

I just blindly followed a tutorial and the result was this... Tbh, there is no BG at all, just the colour.. And a Vongola logo behind text.. Anyways thanks..

No BG, too big text, don't leave too much space between text, it doesn't blend and looks to plain. :3

You should try not add text when you're just starting. :3

mostly all gimp user run and change to photoshop =_= , photoshop is the best for designer/gfxing

Use CS4. It's easy and good.

Simply splendid for a first try. Just one advice, don't stick to avatars and signatures. Try doing some other designing stuff from time to time. Avatars and siggies won't achieve you too much in your life. Examples for some new stuff to try out:
1-Wallpapers.
2-Skins for games like lf2, or perhaps, menus.
3-Try creating your own text, and do a character map for it from A to Z.
4-Try spriting.
5-Try doing fancy posts templates. Something like the stuff type leaders used to do on poke-games for their recruiting thread. But what you are going to release is the psd, such that people will be able to use your templates for their posts whenever they want (I would even allow using them here for the topic starter' posts).
6-Try doing some logos or banners.

This goes to all the gfxers here, including Awsan who has been doing signatures for a whole 4 months without trying anything new :/:Y):.

Hmmm I appreciate your thoughts but I just began doing some gfx. Let me do some avatars and signatures for a while then I will take your ideas into account..
