soooo it seems as though everyone is making these so i said why not I give it a shot. give me helpful criticism please

For your first, it's pretty nice Very Happy

Ok, lets get the bad out of the way first:
Bad:
First up, the render is really low quality. (Try to avoid drastically changing the sizes of a render, as it can lower the quality)
Secondly, I find that the white effects don't really merge well, and look a bit pixely. (Blur is your best friend, just don't over-use it)
text is kind of plain, and hard to notice (No effects)
The left side looks a bit empty. (No effects)
Good:
The color blends well, I like how it goes dark to light. (Gradients ftw!)
The effects on the right look pretty legit ( Thumbs up!

)
You used non-Arial/Times New Roman/Basic font
Suggestions:
Spend more time picking a render, It makes a big difference. Razz

(Also, depending on what program you're using, hitting "resize" is usually better than doing it yourself)
Find some more effects that you could add over top, and make it transparentish, and since you have some empty space, making the render a bit bigger wouldn't hurt. Hope this helped, and good luck with your sigs!

lol u were right on, i could'nt find a render that i liked but i found a pic that was a render but someone on FB wrote their groups name across the pic. so i had to "render" it.(side story end) resized it dramaticaly, and thats not even the whole pic lol.
so i gotta pimp out left side, find a better render,make text stand out, blur, and add more effects over while making it somewhat transparent. what size u think i should make it?

No prob, and you don't have to do all of that, just the ones you think are best Razz

Size? I usually make mine 123x598 (pixels), then I resize the canvas when im done to add the border. (To 125x600)

Dammit, that's what i forgot to tell you. (Add a border Very Happy

) But 598 might be kind of big, so maybe try 448?

Lol even Gimp feels complicated to me...I use PHotofiltre (not The X version the version 7 ) and its really outdated and a pain in the____...Trust me you guys have no idea what I have to go through to make my sigs Razz

so the main reason i made this was to mess around with c4d's and basic stuff. its a horrible sig overall, with aloooot of flaws. i basically tried every cool sounding option under every tool/watever i came across. how u guys make anything look good i have no idea ?_?

It really depends on your C4D...you can cut it up into pieces, and paste it all over the place, or you can use multiple similar looking C4Ds. don't forget the effect C4Ds as well Very Happy
