Actually, I have watched DN in english too. Not only that, actually, but a few others like Digimon, a lot of episode of Bleach, a bunch of anime meant for kids too.

so i was watching bleach, around ep 220 ish, they stop the fight between ichigo and uliquiorra to bring a "lets go to the beach"episode. the women comity goes to the beach......you can already see where this is goin. i dont know whether to be pissed or happy, they stoped the plot to bring "plot"

In all honesty, I'd never have watched Origins if it was completely same as the game. I mean Red doesn't even talk in games, and I'm pretty sure I won't watch an anime with a main character like that.

Well Red does talk in this one (plus there is the Japanese version and the dubbed which is pretty good) and it doesn't take him like 13-15 seasons to actually try and capture all the Pokemon and be the league champion.

In main anime, Pokemon talk by saying their names, Pokeball never breaks, Brock is a pervert, Misty wasn't a gym leader, Sabrina was psychic monster that can make people small, There were more than 8 gyms, Kanto didn't have a champion, and none of that is the same as games.

Further, as you may know, Ash is still 10 year old, meaning he went through all the regions in 1 year, right? And when he was in Unova, both Team Plasma and Team Rocket existed, however, Team Plasma, in games, was made at least 8 years after Team Rocket was disbanded. Furthermore, there's Mewtwo, which was created by Dr. Fuji. But in main anime, Dr. Fuji doesn't exist, instead, Mewtwo was made by Team Rocket.

I think I've made my point, but I can still continue if you want. I will never accept Ash as Red's counterpart. Never.

Actually its not me who says it.. But Bulbapedia does.. I don't mind either way..

Also you realise Misty is a gym leader when she first met Ash she was fishing then after meeting him she decided to go on the journey with him after that all ended she went back to the gym so she's a gym leader.

Where they live have got nothing to do with it, and Professor Oak is the only Professor in Kanto, so they must get starter from him. Even Green is from Pallet Town and got starter from Professor Oak. And Red was 11 when he became a trainer. And Misty's sisters are gym leaders, Ash got his badge from them. Misty became gym leader at the end of Johto League, if I remember correctly.

Look through all my posts and tell one time I said Misty never was a gym leader, or Ash isn't conter-part of Red. She left her gym, thus stopped being a gym leader. And I know what bulbapedia say, I simply think that's wrong, because of reasons I posted perviously. Ash's game counter-part should be Ash from Pokemon Yellow. I'm stating opinion, I don't what are you arguing about.

wow...Im a really big otaku, yet I havent posted here....time to change that. I am actually looking forward to sj's new anime from the 2012 manga hit assassination classroom. Also looking forward for the new hxh movie....kurapika uses his swords again...yes I knew it. Origins was ok...4 episodes and he already tops ash....ash sucks. I never liked pokemon, but red is cool. I watch mostly shounen....dark shounens such as hxh, aot, and fmab.

What does Shonen exactly mean? I know its a genre but what does it mean?
